Revue Logiciel de navigation marine et terrestre Fugawi 4 pour PC - Pocket PC - Palm / Fugawi:Fugawi is a complete navigational system for use with a GPS. The software comes supplied with a CD covering the complete Road Network of Europe (excluding Ireland and Northern Ireland). In real-time navigation mode, your exact position is displayed on the map, via PC/laptop, Pocket PC or Palm (including the Garmin iQue) and new maps are automatically loaded as you travel to new areas. Fugawi's real strength lies in its ability to use maps or charts that you have scanned and then attribute projections and grids to them (including Ordnance Survey). The software corrects scanned maps for rotation, skewing, and differential stretching of the axes caused by photocopying or paper shrinkage. File formats including BSB, Maptech, SoftChart, ChartTiff, USGS DRG and TIF & TFW digital map products can be automatically imported. Then use your PC to create waypoints and routes on your map either manually or with a range of powerful search tools, then upload them to your GPS receiver for use out in the field. Upon returning to your base, you can download added waypoints, routes and tracks onto the digital maps for analysis. Fugawi can upload any map from your PC to a Pocket PC (such as an iPAQ) or a Palm device (O. S. [+]3. 5+). Just select an area of a map and press a button. Fugawi does the rest. Plug in a GPS receiver and enjoy compact real-time GPS navigation with your Pocket PC or Palm. Fugawi also offers you all the standard GPS statistical information you'd expect: synchronisation waypoints, routes and tracks with the Palm or Pocket PC, full navigation features (speed, distance to go, course to steer, magnetic and true courses), built in Odometers and Geographic name lookup. However, it also offers advanced features such as attaching sound and pictures to waypoints (Fugawi supports the Kodak digital GPS camera and automatically puts on the maps in the location where the picture was taken) and many, many more.
